Our Hub
As the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States, our research teams were called to action in establishing the New York COVGEN Hub. As experts in population health, neuroscience, and early development, our work aims to better understand how psychosocial and environmental contexts shape the trajectory of neurocognitive development. With all that remains unknown around the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus, our mission is to better understand how this global pandemic has impacted two of humanity’s most vulnerable populations; pregnant women and their infants.
Our Initiative
The COPE: COVID-19 and Perinatal Experiences Study
We are currently enrolling parents and their young children into a longitudinal research study aimed at better understanding the experiences of families during this global pandemic.
As collaborators with the COPE research initiative, we hope to capture the shared experiences of the COVID-Generation (COVGEN) population and foster connection and resiliency as members of a rising global community.
